Terms of service

These terms govern your use of DineSight, a service that helps restaurants read and reply to their guests' online reviews. By signing in or using DineSight you agree to them. If you use DineSight for a business, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms on its behalf.

The service

DineSight brings your reviews into one inbox, drafts replies in your restaurant's voice using AI, and, if you connect Google Business Profile, syncs your Google reviews and posts the replies you approve. DineSight is in early access: features may change, and we may add, change or remove parts of the service.

Your account

• You sign in with Google. Keep your Google account secure; you are responsible for activity under your DineSight account.
• You must be at least 18 and connect only business listings you are authorised to manage.

Replies and AI drafts

• Drafts are written by AI and can be wrong, incomplete or inappropriate. Review each draft before you approve it.
• Replies are posted under your business's name. You are responsible for every reply you approve, and for any you allow to be posted automatically.
• Automatic posting is off unless you switch it on, and only applies to 4–5 star reviews that are not flagged as needing your attention.

Acceptable use

Do not use DineSight to post misleading, abusive, discriminatory or unlawful content, to break any platform's rules, to harass reviewers, or to try to break or overload the service.

Third-party platforms

Your use of Google Business Profile and other platforms through DineSight is also subject to their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for those platforms, their availability, or how they display or moderate replies.

Your content and data

You keep ownership of your restaurant information, reviews you bring in and replies you write. You give DineSight permission to process them only to provide the service. How we handle personal information is described in our privacy policy.

Fees

DineSight is free during early access. If we introduce paid plans, we will tell you in advance, and you will not be charged without agreeing first.

Ending your use

You can stop using DineSight at any time, disconnect Google in Settings, and ask us to delete your account at hello@dinesight.in. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken or to protect the service or others.

Disclaimers and liability

DineSight is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, DineSight is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses arising from replies you approve or allow to post automatically, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (which during free early access is zero).

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top and, for significant changes, let account holders know by email. Continuing to use DineSight means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute.
